Every spring, millions of monarch butterflies leave Mexico for an incredible, silent 3,000-mile journey to eastern North America. And every fall, millions return to Mexico.
But not one will ever make the round trip: it will take four generations of butterflies. Mariposas™ is a movement and card collection game that allows players to be part of this wonderful migration.
Mariposas™ is played over three seasons. Generally speaking, your butterflies will try to head north in the spring, spread out in the summer, and return south in the fall. At the end of each season, there is a scoring round. At the end of the fall, the player with the most victory points has the most successful butterfly family and wins the game!
