Volto is a simple 10-minute strategy game for two players. You are in the times of the Venetian Republic and the new Doge will soon be elected; use the carnival to hide behind the mask and get rid of the rival family and ensure the votes of the Council! In Volto, the board represents Piazza San Marco on which the pawns (masks) will move. The masks represent 3 nobles, 3 councilors, 2 ladies, 1 soldier and 1 candidate. Starting from their own side of the board, players take turns moving the masks on the board. The masks have a front side, facing the opponent, and a side that only the player sees. It shows the type of mask and the movements that it can perform. The aim of the game is to capture the opponent's masks: eliminate the opponent's candidate, have your ladies captured, or bring your candidate to the opposite side of the belly.
