Did the first round-the-world trip happen before or after the Battle of Lepanto? Did the California Gold Rush happen around the same time? Had Julius Caesar already been named Emperor when the Great Fire of Rome broke out? Had the Great Wall of China already begun to be built? Can you put the historical events that shaped the fate of humanity in chronological order?
These are the questions you will ask yourself while playing Timeline Historical Events.
The game begins with a card representing a historical event and the date of its occurrence visible to all. Players must place a card from their hand, also representing a salient moment in the history of humanity, to the right or left of the card, depending on whether the event they are playing occurred temporally before or after the cards already in play. If, when the date is discovered, it turns out to be correct and therefore placed correctly in the chronological line, then the card will remain in play. Otherwise, it must be discarded and another must be drawn from the deck. The player who manages to place all of his cards first will win the game.
The game contains 55 cards representing different historical events. The difficulty of the game can be increased by mixing the deck of this version with other decks of the Timeline line.
The very simple and intuitive rules allow you to play immediately. The quantity and variety of historical events guarantees fun and hilarity for both young and experienced players (especially in case of sensational mistakes, as you can be sure will happen).
Timeline Historical Events is a great way to learn and review History, in an exciting and fun way. For this reason, it can also be used for educational and training purposes.
The blister format makes the game great to take on trips, on excursions or in any case to always have with you, within reach. In short: it's always the right time for a review of History.
