The basic mechanics of Edifice are based on those of the Great Projects of the Babel expansion. Everything has been revised to perfection and improved to give greater fluidity and efficiency to the game. This expansion does not include Age cards and can be played with both the old and the new edition of the game (even if the Wonders are larger as in the new version).
What does it add? This expansion adds a new type of card called Structure cards: Amphitheatres, Outposts, Concentric Castles, and many other structures will bring new challenges to games. • At the start of the game, 3 Structures will be available to players (1 per Age): players will contribute together to the realization of these projects to gain benefits or suffer the consequences if incomplete. • The 15 Structures add more replayability. • 2 new Wonders (which can be used together with the base game or any expansion) are added to the 7 already present in the base game.
