The game is really easy to explain: a player has to make the others guess a character from 12 cards drawn from the deck. He cannot speak or mime, but uses other cards from the game as clues.

It is therefore a game of deduction where the participants must confront each other and succeed in understanding what reasoning hides the proposed clue.
The prompter will also need to be on the same wavelength as the table and understand how to best use his cards to provide help.

The package indicates a limit of 8 players, but you can easily play in larger groups too.

With each game, the bond with your group will be stronger and stronger and you can raise the level of competition by mixing the cards with other Similo packs such as the one dedicated to History or Fairy Tales or the one about Harry Potter.

As a Hintster, draw a secret character: this is the one you have to make the other players guess.

Draw more cards until you have 12, shuffle them and place them visibly on the table.

Draw 5 cards and keep them face down in your hand.

Now you have to choose one of these cards to give a clue, to do so you have two options:

playing the card vertically means that the secret character is similar
Playing the card horizontally means that the secret character is different.

For example: if you want to indicate that the secret character is female you can play a vertical female character card or a horizontal male character card.

After choosing the card, draw again to always have 5 in your hand.

The Interpreters have the task of guessing the secret character by gradually discarding the 12 cards on the table.
At the first clue they will have to discard 1.
At the second clue, 2 more.
At the third clue 3 cards.
At the fourth clue, 4 more cards.
The fifth is the last clue and there will be only 2 cards left on the table. They will have to indicate which of these is the secret character.

If the Interpreters discard the secret character in one of the phases, the game is automatically lost.
